What is the Order of St. Luke?
The Greater Springfield Chapter
of The Order of St. Luke began in 2001. It includes members from many different Churches
and denominations. The Chapter holds a monthly service at Christ Church
Cathedral in Springfield Massachusetts. The Chapter has about 60 members and provides training in the
Prayer Ministry in the O.S.L. and provides resources to most churches in the development
of the Healing Ministry in their Churches. Wally Gladwin is the
Convener. The Reverend John Parke is the Chaplain.
The service includes praise and worship, teaching and healing prayer, which
includes anointing and the laying on of hands for healing. This will be followed by
refreshments with a "literature table."
